Wilbur Shaw was the first driver who won two consecutive editions of famous Indianapolis 500 in 1939-1940. Both times he had driven to victory the same Maserati 8CTF vehicle officially entered as Boyle Special. Car was in production in 1938-39 and was powered by 8-Cylinder 2991 cc 350 hp engine.
