1987 DAF FAV 3600 Dieker / Ketelaars / Tessens

In the 1987 Dakar race DAF Team De Rooy Transport was represented by one racing truck – new DAF TurboTwin II driven by Jan de Rooy, and two DAF FAV 3600 service trucks driven by Peter van Maris (#631) and Leon Dieker (#632). De Dieker finished 9^th in the truck class and 56^th overall, and van Maris was 14^th in trucks and 65^th overall.
