1950 BRM P15

The BRM Type 15, or Mk.1  was the first car produced by British Racing Motors. The car was fitted with a revolutionary and highly complex supercharged 1.5-litre British Racing Motors V16 which produced considerably more power than any of its contemporaries. The car made his first appearance during the 1950 British Grand Prix when Raymond Mays gave the car a demonstration run in front of the very large Silverstone crowd. The car raced in few F1 World Championship and non-Championship races in 1950-51, as well as in F1 and Formula Libre races in 1952-1953.
