March F1 car for 1976 season was at the disposal of works March Engineering team with Ronnie Peterson, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Vittorio Brambilla, Arturo Merzario and Lella Lombardi. Due to a small budget, the cars tending to turn up in different liveries as race-by-race sponsorship deals were signed. Brambilla was entered under Beta sponsorship, Merzaio raced for Ovoro and Lombardi was sponsored by Lavazza. The models by Spark illustrates the car driven by Merzario in the 1976 Spanish Grand Prix. Merzario retired from this race and scored no points in his seven races with March in the 1976, as well as in the following six races with Williams entered by Walter Wolf Racing.
