Tyrrell 014 was the car used by Team Tyrrell during the second half of the 1985 season and in first three races of the 1986. It was the first Tyrrell car with a turbocharged engine designed to replace the 012 powered by naturally aspirated Ford Cosworth. The team was the last to secure a turbocharged engine deal, but development of the new car to be powered by Renault Gordini 1.5-litre turbocharged V6 engine was delayed due to the lack of funding. The 014 was finally ready for the 1985 French Grand Prix. In 1986 Tyrrell got the sponsorship of Data General Company and started the development of the new 015, but continued to use the 014 in the beginning of the season. Martin Brundle and Philippe Streiff were the team drivers in 1986. Streiff raced the 014 in four out of six first races of the year, but scored 3 points in the second half of the season driving Tyrrell 015.
