The B191B was the small upgrade (to bodywork and suspension) of the B191 car from the 1991 season. The car was pressed into service for the first three races of the 1992 season and was replaced by the Benetton B192 following the 1992 Brazilian Grand Prix. Martin Brundle who replaced the retiring Nelson Piquet failed to finish all 3 first races of the season while Michael Schumacher in the same car was 4th in South Africa and 3rd in Mexico and Brazil.
