MS7 was designed by Brenard Boyer and built by Matra Sports as F2 car, but the car races occasionally also in F1. The MS7 was powered by Ford Cosworth FFA 1598 cc engine. In the 1968 season Jackie Stewart raced for Tyrrell racing Organization in F1, but sometimes he got behind the wheel of an F2 car for Marta International. Stewart won the 1968 Pau Grand Prix driving MS7.
