





The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series season was the 16th national championship season of American open wheel racing sanctioned by CART. Willy T. Ribbs, probably the first African American driver of the premier level, competed in the CART series since 1984. The 1994 season was his last full year in the open-wheel racing. Ribbs competed for Walker Racing and finished the season 22nd with 12 points. His best finish was 7th place at Michigan oval. As to Indy-500, Ribbs failed to qualify in 1994.
