





The 1994 PPG Indy Car World Series season was the 16th national championship season of American open wheel racing sanctioned by CART. Arie Luyendyk in the 1994 moved from Chip Ganassi Racing to young Indy Regency Racing team, which was formed and owned by Sal Incandela who had worked with several Formula One and CART teams. The team debuted in 1991 in Indy Lights and 1994 was their second and last year in CART. Luyendyk struggled in the new team and 2nd place at Michigan was his only significant result of the season. As to Indy Regency Racing, the team briefly appeared in Indy Racing League in 2000-2002.
