The SF14 was the car designed and built by Dallara for the Super Formula series in Japan. The car featured sandwich carbon/alluminium honeycomb chassis and was powered by 2.0 L turbocharged Honda HR-414E or Toyota RI4A engines. The 2014 season was the second year for the premier Japanese single-seater series under new name (it was Formula Nippon in 1996-2012) and the first year with the new car manufacturer (after March, Reynard, Lola and Swift). The championship was won by Kazuki Nakajima. Hiroaki Ishiura representing P.mu/cerumo-INGING racing team finished the season on 5th position with two podium finishes. Ishiura, who won Japanese Super GT series in 2007, became the Super Formula champion a year later, in 2015. In the 2017 season he repeated his success.
