The SF14 was the car designed and built by Dallara for the Super Formula series in Japan. The car featured sandwich carbon/alluminium honeycomb chassis and was powered by 2.0 L turbocharged Honda HR-414E or Toyota RI4A engines. The 2014 season was the second year for the premier Japanese single-seater series under new name (it was Formula Nippon in 1996-2012) and the first year with the new car manufacturer (after March, Reynard, Lola and Swift). The championship was won by Kazuki Nakajima. Tomoki Nojiri debuted in the Super Formula in 2014 after three years in Japanese Formula 3. Nojiri won the round 7 of the series, a race at Sportsland Sugo, and finished the season 10th in the championship. Nojiri continued to race in Super Formula until now being probably the best current Japanese racing driver. Nojiri won Super Formula in 2021 and 2022 and was 3rd in 2023.
