The SF14 was the car designed and built by Dallara for the Super Formula series in Japan. The car featured sandwich carbon/alluminium honeycomb chassis and was powered by 2.0 L turbocharged Honda HR-414E or Toyota RI4A engines. The 2014 season was the second year for the premier Japanese single-seater series under new name (it was Formula Nippon in 1996-2012) and the first year with the new car manufacturer (after March, Reynard, Lola and Swift). The championship was won by Kazuki Nakajima. Japanese Koudai Tsukakoshi made his debut in Formula Nippon in 2009 and raced in the series until 2021, scoring a single win in 2012. He completed the 2014 season in 11th position for HP Real Racing team. He still competed in Japanese Super GT series and was Super Formula development driver to develop the new Dallara-built SF23 chassis as the test driver of Honda representative.
