In 2022 Grosjean started his second Indycar season and first year with Andretti Autosport replacing the outgoing Ryan Hunter-Reay. Piloting the No. 29 DHL Honda Grosjean picked up his only podium at Long Beach. Overall 2022 was a difficult season for Grosjean, as he struggled with bad luck and on track contact with teammates and other drivers. Grosjean was 13th in the final standings of the championship.
