



In 1992 World Sportscar championship Peugeot was only factory team remaining. They entered three updated model, the Peugeot 905 Evo 1-bis, cars for the 24 hours race in Le Mans. Derek Warwick, Yannick Dalmas and Mark Blundell driving car #1 won the race. Peugeot #2 (Mauro Baldi, Phipille Alliot and Jean-Pierre Jabouille) was 3rd, and car #31 (Karl Wendlinger, Eric van de Poele and Alain Ferte) retired with engine problems in the mid of the race.
