



2011 saw the return of a Pescarolo works team under the form of a new team named Pescarolo Team, succeeding to Pescarolo Sport, being bankrupt in July 2010 after their financial difficulties. The team raced Pescarolo 01, the first sports prototype racing car built entirely by French team in 2007. The cars entered by OAK racing was known as OAK-Pescarolo, as OAK Racing took over the manufacturing side of Pescarolo Sports at the end of 2009. So, one Pescarolo 01 and three OAK-Pescarolo 01 stated the 2011 Le Mans race. The OAK car #24 (Richard Hein / Jacques Nicolet / Jean-François Yvon) retired after 119 laps.
