



Dimitri Djordjadze (Jorjadze) was a Georgian prince, son of Prince Alexander Djordjadze, titular councilor, peace mediator in Georgia, Kakheti. Born in 1898, after participating in several decisive battles in Georgia of the October Socialist Revolution, Dimitri emigrated through Italy to France. In Europe Prince Djordjadze started motor racing among his other activities, being well known in racing circles. In early July 1931, he won the Touring Car Grand Prix, 24 Hours of Spa, in Belgium, in a Mercedes-Benz SSK with Goffredo Zehender. They covered the greatest distance, 1,580.7 miles at a speed of 65.8 miles per hour.
