Oscar Mario Angeletti made his debut in Turismo Carretera in 1984, and raced in the series until 1990. He won the title in 1986 and was vice-champion in 1988 and 1989. In the 1989 season he took four victories, more than any other driver that season, but on points (172,5) lost to Oscar Castellano (189,5).
