



The 2003 Rolex 24 at Daytona was an endurance sports car race served as the first round of the 2003 Rolex Sports Car Series. German RWS Motorsport team, which was sponsored by Russian Yukos oil and gas company in 1997-2003 and therefore known as RWS Yukos Motorsport, competed mostly in FIA GT championship. In the 2003 Daytona, Yukos RWS was represented in GTS class. Yukos drivers Russians Aleksey Vasilyev and Nikolai Fomenko were joined by Tetsuya Tanaka and Walter Lechner Jr. The team was classified 28th after retirement after 361 laps.
