The Ford C series was the first cab over engine (COE) truck produced with a tilting cab by Ford. The series was in production between 1957 and 1990. Shelby American Company and its racing team used Ford C-700 as a transporter truck for their AC Cobra cars in the 1960s. In the 1964 season with the new aerodynamic Shelby Cobra “Daytona” the team took part in the World Sportscar Championship including 24 hours of Le Mans.
