In 1957 Bartoletti workshop, based in Forli, south of Bologna, bodied couple of a 9-tonne FIAT type 642 RN2 chassis as a racing car transporters. These FIAT – Bartoletti transporters served with Scuderia Ferrari and Officine Alfieri Maserati from 1957 until the mid-1960s. Transporting F1s, GTs and Sports Prototypes, it travelled all over Europe during this period.
