



On 15 February 1914 an ice race in St. Petersburg from Vasilievsky Island to Kronstadt and back was held. It was a second annual event after a successful debut of ice racing in Russia in 1913. Sixteen cars started for the distance of 52,3 km. Vern driving a Hapmobile car set the best time of 51 min 36 sec and won the race. Russo-Balt factory driver S. Levitan also took part in the ice race driving K12/24 HP Roadster.
