1956 GAZ-M20 Pobeda Sport Mosolov / Efremychev

In 1955–1956, in the experimental workshop of the Gorky Automobile Plant, under the supervision of test drivers Mikhail Metelev and Vyacheslav Mosolov, two roadsters were manufactured based on GAZ-M20 Pobeda passenger car chassis for participation in the USSR championship in sportscar racing. Car No. 30 of the team of Vyacheslav Mosolov and Aleksandr Efremychev finished second in a single-race 1956 USSR sportscar championship. The car completed 9 laps (396,9 km) of the Big Minsk Ring at an average speed of 141.1 km/h, finishing 4 minutes and 40 seconds behind other GAZ-M20 roadster No. 31 driven by Mikhail Metelev and A. Zverev.
