



Moskvich 407 Coupe was built at Moscow Plant of Small Cars (MZMA) in 1962 in two copies, based on a serial Moskvich 407 passenger car. Cars No. 49 and No. 50 were driven by Emmanuil Livshits and Anatoly Protasov, respectively, in Group B USSR Sportscar Champoinship in 1962, where Livshits was 3rd. However, the main application of this car was the hippodrome racing, very popular in the USSR, in which in 1962 season Moskvich No. 50 was driven by Vadim Rzhechitsky and Sergey Smirnov.
