



The racing special produced by Czech manufacturer Laurin & Klement in 1909 was designed by Otto Hieronimus and powered by 5,6 liter engine. The FCR was very successful in hill climb races in 1909 – 1911. In 1909 in a race uphill near the Austrian spa Semmering, Hieronimus and Kolowrat took 1st and 2nd place in the first category of vehicles. In the 1911 season Otto Hieronimus won not only his category, but also became the absolute winner and holder of a new track record in the race to the Zbraslav–Jíloviště hill.
