The 2023 season was the best for the Aston Martin F1 team since the 2021 when Lawrence Stroll rebranded Racing Point to Aston Martin. The team signed Fernando Alonso and started the season so well that they could not avoid accusations of copying Red Bull. But in the second half of the season its performance began to deteriorate. Anyway, for Alonso it was the brilliant season with 8 podiums and 4th place in the final championship standings. Fernando was very close to long-awaited win at Monaco, but made a mistake in strategy in rain conditions and finished 2nd.
