Hongwell Toys Limited is a renowned privately held Hong Kong company specializing in the production of die-cast metal models and toy vehicles. The company is best known globally for its flagship brand, Cararama. The company’s predecessor, A-Cheong Plastic Manufactory Limited, opened in Hong Kong in 1970. Hongwell officially became a scale model manufacturer in 1995. Its main production facilities are located in Dongguan, mainland China, and occupy a vast area of over 240,000 square meters. Hongwell operates both under license for the world’s largest automakers and as an OEM/ODM supplier (creating products for other well-known brands such as Schuco and Corgi).
