Wiking Modellbau GmbH, Germany was founded by Friedrich Karl Peltzer in1936. Currently Wiking is one of the largest manufacturers of 1/87 cars and trucks models. In the 1990s Wiking issued a series of Mercedes-Benz racing trucks of 1991 – 1996 seasons. Around 20 various trucks were produced in the series.
