Peugeot was a regular participant in motor racing in 1910s and 20s. Company’s 1920 racing car was powered by the Marcel Greemillion designed 3-liter, triple-overhead-cam unit. Three cars were entered for the Indianapolis 500 race in hands of Jules Goux, Ray Howard and Andre Boillot, but all retired due to engine problems. Boillot’s car No. 17 was first which abandoned the race after just 16 laps. The model manufactured by Norev is the part of Hachette Peugeot Collection. See also the same model of car #16 by Goux from Norev regular production.
