1999 Formula One season was another year of Benetton’s decline after Schumacher period of 1992-95. For Austrian Alexander Wurz it was his second out of three seasons in Benetton. Alex was able to achieve his best year’s result on the home soil in Spielberg, but this “best” was disappointingly only 5th position.
