The 75 hp FIAT racing car was produced in 1904. Major races where the car was raced in 1904 were Gordon Bennett Trophy and Coppa Florio. In Gordon Bennett race at Homburg, Germany, Vincenzo Lancia was sixth, Alessandro Cagno 10th, while third FIAT driver Luigi Storero did not finished the race. Several months later Lancia won the first Coppa Florio race ahead of Panhard-Levassor, Mercedes and Darracq. Brumm scale model of FIAT 75 hp with the racing number 20 cannot be attributed to any of these races as well as to any other known FIAT entry in major events that year.
