1997 Benetton B197 Alesi

The B197 was designed by Pat Symonds and Nick Wirth, powered by Renault RS9 V10 engine and driven by Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger (and Alex Wurz replacing Berger in 3 races in the mid of the season). The car was the most competitive vehicles of the season among the rest of the field behind Williams and Ferrari. Both Alesi and Berger were able to finish regularly in high points, but the team scored only one win by Gerhard Berger in Germany.
