The M190 designed by Aldo Costa and Tomasso Carletti was used by Minardi F1 team in the 1990 F1 season. Team drivers were Minardi’s synonymous Pierluigi Martini and Paolo Barilla, who joined the team at the end of 1989 season. For Barilla, former F2 and F3000 middle peasant, it was his only full season in F1. Barilla failed to qualify for the half of the races and scored his best result at Imola finishing 11th in the San Marino Grand Prix.
