The Klenk – BMW, or Klenk-Meteor, was a German racing car which competed in the 1954 German Grand Prix. The car was essentially F2 Veritas Meteor powered by BMW engine, owned and prepared by German racing driver Hans Klenk. He intended to race the car himself, but an accident during a Mercedes-Benz training session at the Nürburgring ended Klenk´s racing career in July 1953. Hardly escaping the death, he had severe walking disability and his racing career was over. In the 1954 German Grand Prix Klenk entered his cat to Theo Helfrich, his fellow German driver. Theo set the slowest time in the practice session, started from the back of the grid and retired on lap 9 due to engine failure.
