1988 McLaren MP4/4 Senna F1AC

McLaren MP4/4 is one of the most successful Formula 1 cars of all time. It was designed by Steve Nicholls and Gordon Murray and powered by 1,494 cc Honda RA168-E, 80° V6, turbo engine. The design of MP4/4  design goes back to lowline Brabham BT55 constructed by Murray in 1986. MP4/4 overwhelmingly dominated the 1981 F1 season. McLaren’s rivaling teammates Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost, one of the most prominent team duos of all time, won 15 of the 16 races of the season. Due to point scoring system with only 11 best results counted to the final standing, Senna finished in the championship 3 points ahead of Prost taking his first Drivers’ title.
