Dutch racing driver Richard Verschoor competed for MP Motorsport in the newly formed FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2019. He scored a number of top 10 finishes and finished 13th in the championship with 34 points. His major success of the year occurred at the end of the year when he won Macau Grand Prix.
