The 2020 season of the IndyCar Series was shorted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Ten races were cancelled, five rescheduled, and five replacement races added. The major technical change of the season was the introduction of cockpit protection, combining an Aeroscreen and the Halo used in Formula One. Graham Rahal continued his IndyCar career with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. He was second in GMR at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course, and third at Iowa Speedway and in Indianapolis 500. Graham finished the season eighth overall, marking his sixth-straight year finished in the top 10 for the IndyCar Series championship. Like many other entries, Rahal’s No. 15 Letterman Lanigan Dallara / Honda was painted in various liveries during the season – eight variants were used in the 14 races of the year. This United Rentals livery was the main one used most frequently, including Indy 500.
