1961 Cooper T53 Collomb

French Bernard Collomb, professional mechanic, raced in Formula One in 1961-1963 with his own Cooper and Lotus. Collomb started in motorcycle racing, and competed in Formula 2 in 1959 – 1960. In the 1961 season he took part in French and German Grands Prix. He  retired at Reims  and was not classified at Nurburgring. Collomb achieved some success in 1961 non-championship races driving his Cooper T53 – he was fourth in Vienna Grand Prix and sixth in Naples Grand Prix.
