Driven by Bobby Unser, 1974 USAC champion, this All American Racers team car won the Indianapolis 500 race in 1975. The entry was sponsored by Earle M. Jorgensen, founder of Jorgensen Steel Corporation. The 1974 USAC Championship winning Olsonite Eagle was repainted in Jorgensen blue and given the traditional Gurney #48 for the 1975 season. In the 1975 Indianapolis 500, Bobby Unser won his second 500 in a race that was rain-shortened on lap 174 because of torrential rains.
