1976 Hesketh 308D Ertl

The 308D designed by Harvey Postlethwaite and powered by 3-litre Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine, was raced in the 1976 season by Hesketh Racing with Harald Ertl. Second car was sponsored by Penthouse magazine and raced as  Penthouse Rizla Racing with Hesketh by Guy Edwards, Rolf Stommelen and Alex Diaz Ribeiro replacing each other at the wheel during the season. Austrian Ertl in the genuine works car csored no World Championship points in 1976, with Ertl’s 7th place at the British Grand Prix being the team’s best result of the year.
