C14 designed by Andrea de Cortanze and Leo Ress and powered by Ford Zytek, was a regular midfielder, driven by Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Karl Wendlinger and Jean-Christophe Bouillion. Wendlinger retired three times in first four rounds and was replaced by Frenchman Jean-Christophe Boullion for most of the remainder of the year. Bouillion, 1994 Formula 3000 champion, scored points twice but rarely matching his team-mate Heinz-Harald Frentzen.
