





G-Force was once again a constructor for the second generation of IRL cars with GF05 chassis replacing GF01, produced since 1997. American Robby McGehee, 1999 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year after finishing fifth, in the 2000 season drove #5 G-Force GF05 powered by Oldsmobile Aurora V8 for Treadway Racing team. His best result of the year was 2nd place in Casino Magic 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. McGehee finished the season 12th with 174 points.
