Chip Ganassi Racing entered four cars in the 2021 Indycar series, driven by Marcus Ericsson, Scott Dixon, Alex Palou and Jimmie Johnson. Young Spanish driver Alex Palou raced before in European and Japanese minor formulas, and moved to US to drive in Indycars in 2020. In his second season in the series Alex won three races (at Birmingham, Road America and Portland circuits), scored five more podiums and won the championship.
