2003 Renault R23 Trulli (UH)

The R23 was driven by Fernando Alonso and Jarno Trulli in the 2003 F1 season. The car designed by Mike Gascoyne, Bob Bell, Tim Densham was powered by Renault RS23 V10 engine developing 830 hp. Since British Grand Prix, 11th round of the championship, the “B Specification” car named the Renault R23B was used for the remainder of the season. Alonso scored two podium finishes in the beginning of the season, and with the R23B took his first F1 victory at  the 2003 Hungarian Grand Prix, the first time Renault had won a Grand Prix since the 1983. Trulli’s best result of the year was 3rd place in Germany. Eventually Alonso was 6th in the Driver’s standings with 55 points, and Trulli was 8th scoring 33 points.
