1981 Fittipaldi F8C Rosberg

Emerson Fittipaldi, two-times F1 World Champion and Fittipaldi team cofounder, decided to retire from racing at the end of 1980 at the age of only 33. Young Brazilian Chico Serra replaced him for 1981 to drive Fittipaldi cars alongside Keke Rosberg. Rosberg did manage to finish a fourth at the non-championship FOCA South African Grand Prix at the start of the year, albeit one lap down on the leaders. But during the season Fittipaldi drivers often had problems to qualify for the race and when raced were at  the back of the field and scored no points that year. For Rosberg the best result of the year was 9th place on in the Brazilian Grand Prix.
