Starline Models was founded in 2005 by Roland Ender, former deirector of Solido Germany. The company is based in Germany, and models are made in China. The range of 1:43 models cover mostly Italian luxury and sports cars from 1930s to 1980s. Starline produced diecast scale models for several Italian partworks series. More sophisticated and more expensive 1:43 resin models were manufactured under the Lux Beta name. Starline also created 1;87 and 1:43 scale models of Austrian cars, buses and trucks for Vienna-based Austrian Car Collection, as well as Austro-Daimler 1:43 models for Mattsee-based Fahr(t)raum museum.
