Trumpeter is the brand of Chinese Yatai Electric Appliances Co., Ltd, a large plastic molding and electrical appliances manufacturer located in ZhongShan, GuangDong province, China. Trumpeter major production is plastic model kits of military vehicles, planes, helicopters and ships in various scales – 1:72, 1:35 and 1:16 for vehicles; 1:35 and 1:48 for plaes and helicopters; 1:200, 1:350 and 1:700 for ships. Manufacturing was stated in 1998, and in 2000 Trumpeter took over from MGM Miniatur Modelle the production of trucks in 1:87. Some Mercedes-Benz Atego racing trucks were issued by Trumpeter in 2000s.
