Portuguese diecast company founded in 1982 in Oporto. Vitesse itself was specialized on road cars, while its branch Quartzo dealt with historic F1 models. Onyx Models specialized on contemporary Formula 1 vehicles, and Trofeu producing rally card were two other independent brands from Portugal started at the same time. Later Vitesse was purchased by Sun Star Models of Macau. Three former Vitesse lines are now supported by Sun Star: Vitesse Models, Vitesse Rallye, and Quartzo.
