The collection of Le Mans cars was issued in Japan by Hachette Japan, a local division of the French publishing house. The models were manufactured by Spark and are of much higher quality than regular magazine collections models. Traditionally for Japanese market the models were packed in special premium boxes. The price of the first issue was 799 Yens. The collection started in October 2018 and initially 100 biweekly issues were planned. But due to the influence of the COVID-19, the production of the collection had been delayed, and the release dates has been postponed many times. Finally the publisher decided to stop the collection after 75 issues in December 2020.

no, all models are metal. Most probably they were made by IXO and branded in the collection materials as Spark for marketing purposes.

ahhh damn . I wanted to do scratch built for slotcar with the body . But metal is kind of heavy . 😒

so which model in 1/43 scale are made of resin ? SPARK but no hachette edition ?

If you are talking about Le Mans 1/43, regular Spark, Bizarre, Trofeu, Tecnomodel, Looksmart, Top Model Collection are resin. Minichamps, IXO, Quartzo, Ebbro, Brumm are metal, as well as all magazine collection models (made by IXO/PCT).
