First collection of Dakar cars was issued by de Agostini in 2005. The collection contains 13 issues, 8 models of cars, 4 models of motorcycles and 1 model of truck. The models were produced by Norev, and collection was distributed in France. The only truck in the collection is 1984 Mercedes Unimog.
