Leyendas de la Formula Uno (Legends of Formula One) is press collection of F1 diecast vehicles published and distributed in Spain and some Latin American countries in 2012-2013. Collection included 16 (or 17 in some national variants) issues consisted of diecast model and magazine. Majority of the models (14 out of 17) were the same as in RBA Collection published in 2001-2004. Models were packed in the blister. Car model and year were indicated on the base as in RBA Collection.

According to information printed in collection leaflets, the manufacturer of the models is Dongguan Loong Run Toy Co., Ltd. It is Chinese company founded in 2002 and based in Shenzhen Industrial Zone. The Company’s line of business includes the manufacturing of games and game sets for adults and children.

The collection was published by the Editorial Sol 90, Spanish publishing house located in Barcelona.  In Spain and Argentina  Leyendas de la Formula Uno collection consisted of 16 issues and was distributed by Sol 90.

There were at least 3 other national editions distributed by  newspapers in Latin American countries: El Tiempo in Colombia (16 issues); El Comercio in Peru (17 issues), and El Mercurio in Chile (16 issues). Issues were published on a weekly basis. In Columbia collection started on 12 September, 2012; in Peru on 29 October 2012; and in Chile on 26 March 2013.

The difference between Spanish and Latin American edition was the addition of Williams FW18 of Damon Hill (1996) to some South American variants. So in Columbia there were same 16 issues as in Spain, while in Peru Williams FW18 of Damon Hill (1996) was added, as well as in Chile. Moss’ Vanwall was removed from the Chilean edition. 14 out of 17 models appeared in Leyendas were absolutely the same as in RBA Collection. The 3 models not represented in RBA Collection are Renaults by Jabouille (1977) and Prost (1983)  and McLaren by Niki Lauda (1985).
